Think of all the lives

we've changed

The Victoria Foundation has touched your life in ways you may not know. Founded in 1936, we’ve given back to our community in countless ways —building funds to express the wishes and interests of donors and distributing earnings where the needs are greatest. Since 1969, we distributed over 13 million dollars to 350 charities on southern Vancouver Island. What inspires us, year after year, is the opportunity to make a difference in virtually every aspect of community life.

Youth Leadership in our Community

Young people who care about their communities are getting involved in philanthropy.

By forming youth advisory committees (YACs) within local community foundations, youth come together to raise money, build endowment funds and make grants to local projects that matter. Find out more about how our ideas and energy can make a difference – today and well into the future.
